Well I certainly can't complain about the weather today it's all ticketyboo out there with the promise of better to come. Well about time too I say.
So I've bitten the bullet and given in to the head hunters on Night Reading. They are going to publish my book for me. I've pussyfooted about long enough. I've had two agents and I publisher all Americans and had nothing but grief, so i'm now going this route. It will cost me absolutely nothing for editing and printing and the option is there to go to another publisher if I want. So there you have it.
I'm still getting rave reviews on Authonomy so I am going to leave it there for the time being.
In the meantime I need to start thinking about book signings etc. lol

The monthly poll on Night Reading was finally won by Bruce Essar with his book Gods Breath. He narrowly beat Genevieve Sawchyn by a whisker. Genevieve is almost agented (as she puts it) and i would urge you to go and take a look at her book

Well here we are on the second of May and it's absolutely "tissing down". It's a bank holiday of course thats the trouble. Oh well.

It would seem that Night Publishing is more than happy to edit and publish "my little man" Eye of Erasmus. I just want to make a few adjustments though to the plot. Why do we keep fiddling with perfection? I have no idea. Just let it go.
However there are some wonderful first chapters on NP and of course who can forget Regs' tribute to our fighting forces. The poem is entitled "The Colours". My poem "Avoca My Love" is also on there and due to be published in June in a compilation of short stories and poems.

Richard from Struggling Authors and I met on Friday. He and his family called in for a cuppa and chat on their way home from their holiday. We didn't stop talking from the moment we met, and the two boys Luke and Ryan are just a joy. Richard and I have been emailing on the Struggling Authors website for at least three years I guess, so it was great to finally meet face to face.
Reg me ole writing mucker has a bit of good news I want to share for him. One of his short stories has been published. WHOPPEE DO !!! He's such a clever writer and always manages to put an unexpected twist at the end. That takes a LOT of skill. So if you fancy a read which I can thoroughly recommend go to the following link.

There is so much going on in my little computer writing world, it's hard to know where to start.
The interview with Tim Roux at Night Publishing has now gone live and can be viewed at Struggling Authors website under interviews (addresses below in previous blog).
Recently Struggling Authors joined forces with Night Publishing and the partnership is working very well. If you read the interview you will see how we have become conjoined in our resolve.
Many books are self published on the internet now and this seems to be the new way to go. Good writers have become very despondent with the publishing world at large and tend to either self publish or go to "new age" publishers such as Night Publishing.
Night Publishing has a motto "Good Books Must Be Published" and to that end they publish five books every month through a voting system. If you wish to know more about this then go to the website shown below.

Struggling Authors my most fave website after Reggos' has now got a complete new look to herald the arrival of Spring. It's all green with lovely blades of grass.
Thinks... why do we call them blades I wonder) Oh well life's too short to ponder.
