Well here we are on the second of May and it's absolutely "tissing down". It's a bank holiday of course thats the trouble. Oh well.
It would seem that Night Publishing is more than happy to edit and publish "my little man" Eye of Erasmus. I just want to make a few adjustments though to the plot. Why do we keep fiddling with perfection? I have no idea. Just let it go.
However there are some wonderful first chapters on NP and of course who can forget Regs' tribute to our fighting forces. The poem is entitled "The Colours". My poem "Avoca My Love" is also on there and due to be published in June in a compilation of short stories and poems.

Richard from Struggling Authors and I met on Friday. He and his family called in for a cuppa and chat on their way home from their holiday. We didn't stop talking from the moment we met, and the two boys Luke and Ryan are just a joy. Richard and I have been emailing on the Struggling Authors website for at least three years I guess, so it was great to finally meet face to face.
Reg me ole writing mucker has a bit of good news I want to share for him. One of his short stories has been published. WHOPPEE DO !!! There is so much going on in my little computer writing world, it's hard to know where to start.
The interview with Tim Roux at Night Publishing has now gone live and can be viewed at Struggling Authors website under interviews (addresses below in previous blog).
Recently Struggling Authors joined forces with Night Publishing and the partnership is working very well. If you read the interview you will see how we have become conjoined in our resolve.
Many books are self published on the internet now and this seems to be the new way to go. Good writers have become very despondent with the publishing world at large and tend to either self publish or go to "new age" publishers such as Night Publishing.
Night Publishing has a motto "Good Books Must Be Published" and to that end they publish five books every month through a voting system. If you wish to know more about this then go to the website shown below.

I can't believe I have been so lax with my blog of late. So many other exciting things going on.
Struggling Authors my most fave website after Reggos' has now got a complete new look to herald the arrival of Spring. It's all green with lovely blades of grass.
Thinks... why do we call them blades I wonder) Oh well life's too short to ponder.
This site is all about helping and supporting unpublished and newly published authors. The administrator is Richard Grayling and his blogspot is http://strugglingauthors.blogspot.com
The Struggling Authors website is http://strugglingauthors.co.uk which you should know by now as I have plugged both of them shamelessly for so long now.
A STOP PRESS item - watch out for another interview, coming shortly, conducted by my good self especially for SA.
Recently, through Authonomy where my book Eye of Erasmus is based I came across Tim Roux and his publishing company. The web site is called Night Publishing. http://www.nightpublishing.com
Their slogan is: Good books must be published.
There is also an online international writers site called Speak Without Interruption. Go to http://www.speakwithoutinterruption.com The owner Bob Grant has collected together some of the best writers around. Several of the contributors will be having their work published on Night Publishing in the very near future.
So try out some of the links if you are an aspiring author such as myself.

SNOW !!!
Snow snow and more snow. Lovely to look at but so disruptive. Buses have stopped running, no post because the posties can't get out. Didn't we all start out with legs? Thought so. How do countries like Poland, Russia, and Canada fair? They get on with it. We have 5cm, yes that is 5cm.
Heaven forbid it comes over our wellies while we clear paths etc.
Ok I've stopped whinging now.
Reg has a new name for his blog. I went to take a peek recently to see how he was fairing and couldn't find it at first. All sorted now though and I found him.
Oh and by the way Reggo baby ARSENAL beat LIVERPOOL 1 - 0 I think. RESULT !!!!! Yahoo. However i think Liverpool are ahead of us on points :-)
So to Authonomy and Erasmus: Last couple of days I was ranked at 176 and then I took a look yesterday and i'm ranked at 225. Those pesky yanks beaver away overnight as we snooze in our beds dreaming of fame. LOL.
Still keeping the faith though. All comes to those who wait long enough.
