I figured that, though the girls are good to go carrying their bodyweight, they'd lack the muscle needed to take on any extra pounds in a backpack.
I do not envisage Maddy or Caitlin being the size of female Russian shot putters so they would have to train that bit harder to put on the muscle.
To emphasise my point, the British and American armies have two different benchmarks when it comes to fitness tests. One for the gentlemen and one for the ladies. The fairer sex are not required to do quite as much as the men. The difference is minimal but it is there.
That was the reasoning behind my minor change.
Am I back in the good books now?
:-)R.R.Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17834582008567973188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8529803977753915593.post-42881611175913683542008-06-10T07:22:00.000+01:002008-06-10T07:22:00.000+01:00Oh come on Tee, Italy were on of the favourites. H...Oh come on Tee, Italy were on of the favourites. Holland did a superb job of destroying the current World Cup champions.
It looks like finally the Dutch have found a way to gel their troop of superstars together into a proper team. They've always had the names but they just couldn't make 'em work together.
I like the Dutch. They have got to be the most international country in the world. The majority of them speak a second language and a lot of them speak two.
They love the Brits and I've only ever had good experiences with Dutch dudes on the pop. The girls are friendly too. (Thinks back to the eighties and smiles wystfully...)R.R.Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17834582008567973188noreply@blogger.com
